Gartner Remodeling was originally founded as F.W. Gartner Company in 1923 to distribute construction equipment. It operated on the east side of downtown Houston. The company has operated as a family-owned company ever since.

In 2020, the company was purchased from the Gartner family by long-time employee Matthew Stevenson. Mr. Stevenson and his family focus their attention to making sure the Gartner name carries on into the next 100 years!
